I am definitely not trying to get away with not replacing the roof indefinitely. Just wondering how to work with the insurance company so they won’t cancel my coverage in a little over a month. It went from “get an inspection and repair what need to be repaired based on the inspection” to “replace the entire roof before March no matter what”. I get it needs to be replaced and I’m willing to do so, I just would have liked to know months ago when they send the original letter that it would need to be replaced. I wouldn’t have wasted money and time getting it inspected and repaired and could have just planned on getting it replaced. Especially if they are the ones determining that it needs to be replaced.
