I was in a similar spot this summer. Farmers dropped me for home and auto. I called almost every insurance company, and they either wouldn't insure me or were prohibitively expensive. I ended up getting in contact with a broker who set me up with Mercury, who were at least somewhat affordable. I'd suggest finding a local broker in your area since they'll know who is and isn't insuring in your area. Good luck.
