California E&S Insurance

Home owners insurance costs I keep hearing on the news people are getting dropped by their carriers. We are looking to by our first home in Danville and we are being quoted 22-28k/year, next year expected to be even more if we are even covered at all. Apparently most of these homes here are at extreme fire risk. Can anyone recommend a carrier?
