that's very similar to how mine happened. The inspector had a wry grin on his face. He listed a crepe myrtle(which was bare) as being too close to the house. Then found a broken slate in a fence, which he listed as needing complete replacement. It was a shame inspection. But i get it. When we got the report back, we knew they had identified as based on location, price, value. I'm not offended, I'm happy to drop them. I nearly own my house completely. But it's proof that insurance has to be regulated.
