Hmm. This is more complicated than I was considering, but an interesting idea. I do know the company they use is looking to limit their properties in California and has been looking for excuses to cancel folks. Just not a good situation for anyone - landlords, tenants, homeowners - but I love this cursed place, and the advantage of owning where I live is my partner is a handyman who can fix most repairs that come up, keeping those costs in line at least (hopefully).
