Sure but then in a private system, if a hospital isn’t doing its job, you can shop around. Some level of competition should give options. Right now they are getting paid and failing us. I’m speaking as someone who was failed by healthcare and feel stuck with dealing with it.
Totally fine with socializing it also. This may be the only option anyway as health care and late stage capitalism might not be a good match.
