Understood, and thank you for all the info. One last question. I was looking at NJ Admin Code 11:1-20.2. It states that a non renewal will not be valid unless it is mailed by certified mail (which I believe requires a signature which I definitely did not sign for anything) or “By first class mail, if at the time of mailing the insurer has obtained from the Post Office Department a date stamped proof of mailing showing the name and address of the insured, and the insurer has retained a duplicate copy of the mailed notice.” Would that second option mean it could be mailed and not require a signature?
