This headline is misleading. First this is Thomas James homes, very cookie cutter and not a custom home. They purchased the property before the fires so they had done the due diligence already. They also have a standard palette of materials they use and have extensive experience with permitting and it still took 2 months to review? At this point they should have it down pat and probably able to get RTI quickly. 6 months to build is also bc Thomas James homes probably had a bunch of materials they already had in storage somewhere and GCs who know their homes inside and out.
