So they quoted you a $2k premium in April and now are quoting you a $5k one? That's rough. Did the servicer give a reason for denying responsibility if the insurance cancelation is due to their obvious error? Ultimately, you'd need pursue the servicer civilly for damages if they are responsible and refuse to compensate. You can't force the FAIR plan to reinstate your old premium when they've done nothing wrong on their end.
