Visited a part of Rancho Bernardo last week with beautiful unique million dollar homes that are older than dirt. When fires hit the area a while back, the owners had insured their homes when they were built and were worth around 300,000 So when they lost them, the insurance companies only covered the original 300,000 dollar valuation even though they were worth MUCH more.
