what if the homeowner is not satisfied with the master policy's coverage. This community's master policy only has $5m coverage for 914 units, according to some OC Register article, they are 90% underinsured. So what if the homeowner wants to cover (and pay for the premiums) the "exterior" structure of their unit since it appears that master policy is insufficient? HO-6 only covers interior, right? So HO-3 would cover the exterior. Is this even possible to get? - obviously a question for the insurance company...wondering about the experience of what others that live there have done...
