Experience with Houzeo? No responses! Im currently listing 2 homes via Houzeo, which essentially gets us on the MLS but staying a "for sale by owner." They use a proxy like listing agent to do this. Their site and services are professional and it's working as intended, as for getting on the MLS, adding pictures, making changes etc. We also upgraded to the plan that uses them to accept and negotiate offers. On the MLS/ Zillow etc is shows that agents name and contact info but it should provide our direct contact info and to contact us in the private/agent remarks. However it's been two weeks and we have received only a single call from an Agent about our listings. I'm not saying I expect an offer by now by any means but I would expect a request for showings, a question - literally anything at all? Does that seem right? The houses are priced below the Zillow estimates/ fair market value. We were offering a 3% buyers commission. My concern is non-agents won't see the private remarks and will have to go through this assigned agent, who I'm seeing has a TON of listings, presumingly from doing these kind of flat feet listing services. I'm really frustrated by this unknown because it leads me to believe there is either something really wrong with my listings, prices, pictures, etc. or I'm being call blocked/ correspondences are not being forwarded by this listing agent. I feel like we are stuck between a rock and a hard place because they won't let us switch agents and we won't be able to get a refund to try another service. Is this something for me to be concerned about or has the market completely stalled? Has anyone else successfully sold via Houzeo or if you have used it were potential buyers messages forwarded to you by the assigned agent? They are getting a lot of views and attention on Zillow. Listings are in Southern California and what was a HOT market. At least until we listed about two weeks ago. Ugh!
