House Insurance + Fire? Hi, My wife and I recently bought a house in the Alta Sierra area and were looking at insurance options. I've heard anecdotally that some folks get relatively low-cost house insurance and then add a plan via California FAIR to cover fire insurance since those plans can be expensive. Now with Farmers and State Farm saying they won't cover new clients, I'm wondering who folks are using for insurance around Alta Sierra/Grass Valley lately.
