In case anyone was wondering - you need a different in conditions - which is a wraparound policy that covers what the Ca FAIR plan doesn't. The quotes I got were around $500-$1500 for a DIC plan - and that was on top of a Ca FAIR Plan which would be anywhere from around $2000+. Some people around here are paying $10k in homeowners insurance yearly.
