PG&E has plenty of problems, but they’re included in the wildfire discussion significantly more than they should be. Did their lines start a few large fires? Sure, but as far as I’m aware they haven’t started any fires this year in what’s by far the worst fire year in modern California. Things are going to burn one way or another and burying PG&E lines isn’t going to change that.
