Beyond unacceptable. I hope the OP contacts the AG and the insurance commissioner about Blue Shield. Maybe on top of what’s happening at Kaiser, something can start to be done. It will require also pushing state rep representatives and Newsom, but it’s so important. And, frankly, it’s important that *all* of us speak up, because the people who most need this to be fixed are least likely to have the energy and capacity to advocate for themselves.
