UPDATE on my home insurance cancellation due to wildfire certificate (Farmers Ins - SoCal)

UPDATE: Just in case anyone is still interested and wants to learn from my situation and mistakes. Thanks for all the advice in my original post!
I signed up for my wildfire certificate inspection and I prepared my house like most people said. I removed 3 large bushes and had my gardener remove my cypress tree. I removed some storage containers at the side of the house, even emptied them out and did some organizing. I dug up 4 rose bushes and replanted them away from the house. It sounds small, but it was a solid three weekends of back straining work. Sent the pics for inspection and paid the $150 fee.
Two days later they email me with a list of fixits.
* Hedge 8 feet from my house needs “separation” between trees/bushes (essentially, create 3ft gaps in the hedge)
* Succulents in garden box 7 feet from house need to be removed (Not sure why, it was more than 5ft away, and they never answered my question as to why)
* Turf that leads up to my backyard needs to be edged further from my house. (I had grass removed and turf installed last year to be more water conscious)
* An oak tree 20ft away from my house needs to be trimmed and cut back (not really legal in California, but okay)
* All my kids play toys in the backyard need to removed (wooden activity table, mini scooter, mini slide - stare at the wall kids, all your stuff is gone!).
* And the kicker…all the furniture in my back yard has to be non-combustible by definition.
I email back with some basic questions, mostly about the hedge and oak tree and ask about what non-combustible furniture is. They email back and they say it means all-metal furniture, no cushions or cloth webbing in any furniture in the backyard. Back and forth a few more times, and they say they won’t come do an inspection until it’s all removed and new pictures are uploaded.
So just to recap, I have to replace thousands of dollars in lawn furniture with metal furniture (or hide it somewhere) and basically wreck all the remaining landscaping within my property to meet these standards.
I tell the fire inspector to eff off and I call AAA. I got home insurance the next day. They even offered me cheaper car insurance.
Moral of the story, Farmers is doing anything they can to cancel you, and they are basically using this as leverage to do so. Just get the FAIR plan or any other insurance that is available. I can't wait to see what happens next year.
