Yikes. I was under that edict when I got my 6/63. It seems as though my old company was again pushing for that. I got mine with no problem and really enjoy the field, personally. When I split off, I not only established a completely independent insurance agency but also found a new life company and broker dealer to carry the other side of what I do, which is fun for me. My team? They are loving owning the p&c side of things while I keep it humming along administratively.
