Notice of Non-Renewal from Insurance due to Wildfire Risk

Notice of Non-Renewal from Insurance due to Wildfire Risk I live in a condominium association within a high fire hazard zone and earlier this year our insurance which covers the property gave a notice of Non-Renewal due to fire risk. My COA board is scrapping together some conglomeration of insurance, but it would lead to skyrocketing monthly dues... putting owners on the hook for $900 a month. This absolutely unaffordable and I've been losing sleep over how I'd pull together the money for this. I'd take painful SDGE bills over this nightmare - at least I have some ability to cut my use of gas/electric. I want to know if any of you have run into and found a solution for this problem. Most of the city is within a fire zone and I'd imagine there are many others facing a similar challenge.
