Scared to be dropped by homeowner’s insurance

Scared to be dropped by homeowner’s insurance A neighbor is threatening to sue us over plumbing work we had done more than 5 years ago that he says he’s been “monitoring” but suddenly wants repairs for the “damages” he’s seen as a result. He is becoming unreasonable with his requests and threatening to sue. Do we need to contact our homeowner’s insurance for help? Do we wait until he actually sues? We live in California in a high wildfire risk area where we hear about people being dropped for small things. We’re worried that whatever we do will get us dropped. Do you think that fear is overly dramatic or is that a legitimate concern?
