If both are providing the same levels of building coverage and liability coverage, you are better off going with the FAIR plan and the DIC policy. The FAIR plan is government backed. An admitted policy is backed by the NAIC. Non admitted is the wild Wild West. If the company goes insolvent due to a catastrophe, there is nobody else to guarantee your claim gets paid.
