CSAA (AAA) just raised ours in OC and demanded a home inspection. Fine print said ok to take pictures or allow them to record while you walk through your home live-streaming with them recor.
What’s next? ICE arresting random people? Oh yea, never mind. AAA would not acknowledge or return calls about the home inspection. When the online still pics were submitted they refused to acknowledge if they received them or were submitted in good order.
We’ve been in this home 20+ years and no claims in 11 years. The ONLY thing AAA will cede to is, the (insurance) contract terms and conditions. It took a good 10 calls to get something in writing we passed the inspection and satisfied the insurance qualifications.
Save and keep a copy of your home and Auto Insurance Policies. Be prepared to have the Reps show you on the policy where rule XYZ says you have to do something on the policy where. Of it’s not there use the word “BREACH” of policy and they’ll get really nice and explain the misunderstanding.
