Thanks, Robert, but these guys are actually right. We only have one rule at our parties: "Don't be a dick." I've broken my own rule here. My reply was condescending and completely unacceptable. I considered editing it, but that would be like running away and hiding from a mistake. I'm willing to accept my errors and I try to correct them. In my own defense, I flew home from Australia this weekend and jet lag is killing me; I've only slept five hours since 2PM Sunday afternoon Pacific time. So, if I seem a bit... "off", that's why. So, let me try again. Hopefully this will work out better. (Maybe not though, I'm still incredibly sleep deprived.) **To ispq**: Thanks for the tip about the Outer Planes boardgaming group. I was already aware of them, and I was planning on talking to the owner there about expanding the boardgaming times and helping make it into a larger event. For reference, our last gaming party started at 6PM and ran until 2AM, and we had two dozen players playing at three different tables all night long. I think making it more than a single three-hour session on one night a week could make it more fun for everyone. **To ahalavais**: I'm only aware of the Outer Planes group. Can you clue me on where some of the other groups might meet, and how big they are? Do you think it might be worthwhile to try to get some crossover between the various groups for a larger local playerbase? EDIT: after posting this I realized that I forgot a very important part of this message! I apologize for being an ass and I'll try not to repeat that mistake.
