Are you willing to share how the neighbors have been during this process? We have neighbors with kids on both sides (both of dogs as well) but we have a puppy too.
Are they being 'cool' about it and just doing what they need to do because insurance sucks or has there been other issues besides payment.
I am sorry you had to give up your dog. I think I would seriously move before I had to do that. She's mah Baby.
