No, it's a bad idea. I doubt you'll even be able to find a shuttle that'll take you. It's too much trouble. Who knows what the weather will be like, but New Years is extremely crowded and traffic is an absolute nightmare. All the main roads are usually gridlocked at 4 0'clock when everyone leaves the ski resorts at the same time. The gridlock some times takes hours to clear. All the hotels and Airbnbs will be booked, good luck finding a place to park anywhere. If you want to party at South Shore then you should stay in South Shore. If you want to ski at Palisades, then should should party in Palisades or Truckee. You can't do both, you'll most likely ruin your night if you try.
