Initially we had a stickler for personal property proof and it was really scary. We had so much stuff that didn’t have pics or receipts, plus collectible vintage gear, etc. But that person was eventually replaced with someone who was much more sympathetic to our situation and ultimately paid our policy without us needing to log and prove everything. We were for sure underinsured and there is no question that a full payout was correct but we also needed them to believe us — and ultimately they did.
