Yes. I've met a few people in my travels with the same lifestyle. The other week, I met a chef from Iowa would used to live in the same neighborhood I live in currently in Texas. He travels the world doing contract gourmet cooking jobs for the ultrarich. We're going to hang out later this year in Quebec for bagels, craft beer and ice hockey.
I made another friend last year in Miami Beach, she is a Russian student/heiress from St. Petersburg who is in love with the West and America. I hung out with her on a second trip to Florida and she came along with me on my trip through Italy last summer.
