[NYS] Won Dept. Financial Service NYS Complaint Against Insurance Company (Fraudulent/Bad Practice), Insurance Company Responds With Non-Renewal Don't believe there is much I can do as they are meeting the legal requirement of non-renewal, but I blew the whistle on questionable insurance practices on policy's when adding a vehicle only to deny coverage and later find out that the coverage for such vehicle would cost 4x-5 or require specialty insurance. The State decided in my favor that it was unfair (IE: Example of them saying it'll cost X then coming back 2 months later saying they won't insure it at all and every competitor wants 3-5x that rate) and a major company that knowingly doesn't insure such product shouldn't have offered coverage and could be a huge financial mistake for policy holders if unable now to afford or find coverage. The same day the Insurance Company responded, an insurance non-renewal was mailed out which was their get out of jail free card in this case which was odd due to NYS saying they aren't required to insure the vehicle, but would be penalized there-for canceling my 7 vehicle policy outside that additional vehicle.
