I disagree on Prop 30. It’s primarily funded by Lyft so taxpayers can help pay for upgrades to EV. California already has some of the highest tax rates in the country. I also don’t think this warrants an increase in taxes for. One could say it only impacts those at high income levels, but I think it sets a very bad precedent that companies can put forth propositions like this for their benefit using tax payer dollars. Also we should be cognizant of the accelerating exodus of wealthy people leaving the state, from a practical standpoint it reduces our overall state tax revenues.
