I enjoyed this story a lot. It certainly reminds me of the despair I experienced as a young man It sounds like this treatment center has helped change some lives for the better After praying to God for help, I checked into treatment for my alcoholism and benzo addiction in 1988 in a small town outside my Smoky Mountains The treatment center introduced me to AA I have worked the 12 Steps daily for the last 36 years and haven’t had a drink or a drug since I am also active in the pursuit of my faith All honest assessments of addiction include miracles on one hand and tragedies on the other. I have been to plenty of funerals to pay respects to alcoholics and addicts who failed to recover
