One year after buying house, receive notice of non-renewal from insurance company.

One year after buying house, receive notice of non-renewal from insurance company. So, a bit of context. We bought our house in June of 2015. About two months later, our dog (that we had had for years with no issues) bit the kid that lives next door (he got a few stitches). We got rid of the dog, and filed a claim with our homeowner's insurance. They came and did a report, and basically said that they would handle it, and that I probably wouldn't hear anything about it for a long time. Well, I guess the long time is up, because last week I got a notice in the mail from my insurance company, stating that they were unable to reach an agreement with my neighbor's lawyer, and that a law suit may be filed. Then today, I got a 'Notice of Non-Renewal' from my insurance company, stating that my policy would be terminated effective June 2, 2016. Cause of non-renewal: Underwriting Problems. I have two questions. One: Since the incident occurred while I was covered by them, will they continue to handle it? Two: What do I do now? Is there someone I need to call? My insurance payments are in a regular escrow account. Will the company that handles my escrow just find me a new insurance company? Or do I need to do it myself? Any guidance is greatly appreciated, I'm very lost and worried right now.
