Nothing wrong with building there. The problem comes when the developers/HOA etc fail to properly create fire buffer zones around the properties....so literally zero planning for fire abatement. The developers put literally zero effort into wildfire mitigation. When the fire does come, you have homes surrounded by bushes, trees etc and the wildland zone goes up directly to the property's fence line. Zero buffer zone.
