Oh yeah, I totally saw this coming. If a cat 4+ hurricane hits Florida again this year, there’s going to be a *really* bad situation with Citizens Insurance. I’m talking, impacted Floridians would revolt/leave en masse and the federal government would need to bail out hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of residents in the state. The unaffected would have to buckle up and pay even more absurd insurance rates just to compensate for more losses.
Florida wasn’t ready for hurricanes last year, and I think this year will be *the* nail in the coffin if another major hurricane hit. Guess we’ll see in a few months.
