State Farm! Once you are in, you are in. They do not cancel you due to high risk area/boundaries changing and you are grandfathered in. They opened up a lot of zip codes two years ago and have not closed up like so many other companies right now. I have all of my stuff with them currently. You don’t get charged broker fees either. When shopping around for insurance make sure you understand what kind of homeowners policy you are getting, they are not all alike. State Farm only writes “open peril policies” meaning they will cover all loses except what is specifically excluded in your contract. Whereas many companies only insure you for specific losses, such as fire and will excluded any water damage.
