Has anyone who is considering self-insurance given consideration to liability? Even if you are prepared to pay for damages to your property in a bad storm, what if your property damages another or someone is injured as a result, are you prepared to take that on as well? I mostly cary (all) my insurance for these concerns- the fact that you have the assets to self-insure indicates that you have something for someone to come after in a liability case. Anyone have knowledge or thoughts on this?
