California E&S Insurance

I’m buying a home and the sellers disclosed they had flood insurance. The home is not in a flood zone. I decided to get flood insurance because of this, but I did get questioned why I was buying flood insurance when it wasn’t required. For me the cost is worth the peace of mind.
