Earthquake insurance??? haha. You must not be familiar with earthquake insurance if you think $4k would buy anything. My homeowner's is $5700, but I was quoted an additional $13k to add earthquake. Oh, and the fine print required by the state of CA says that you acknowledge that in the event of a catastrophic quake the insurer might not be financially sound, so they may never pay the claim.
