USAA denying claim because they want to believe there was a flood
USAA denying claim because they want to believe there was a flood
My sump overflowed and my sewer backed up, I have coverage for that. USAA immediately denied my claim stating "flood". There was no flood of course. They did not send an adjuster to my house or do any investigation. They said they had done the research though and had the data/proof. I asked them to send that to me. They sent me a list of the claims near me, 11 in total. That's it. That's the "proof" they have that my house was inundated with water.... So, there logic is essentially "since we denied others saying there was a flood that now means there was a flood so you too are denied". Complete insanity, not to mention violating state law. Interesting little fact is the other homes that filed claims with other insurers were all paid out. Only USAA is blanket denying everyone. RUN FROM USAA
