As long as you know how much you are bringing in TO THE CENT and set aside 50% for your taxes you are fine (better to over estimate). W-2 filing isn’t mandatory, paying your taxes is. As long as you do your taxes you are fine. That doesn’t mean the business is though but that isn’t your concern. Report all your income. Not having a w-2 just means you also get to have the tax write-offs of a business. Do your research and talk to a professional but as long as you report and pay ALL your taxes then you are fine.
