You can search for other insurers but if you're on the FAIR plan already, I assume you previously had no luck. Still, you may get lucky as the insurance environment has been constantly changing. Nothing you can really do about the premium increases. Assuming you're in a high risk area, even though they may be high, they are still likely well below the actual risk presented as the FAIR plan relies on being underfunded and then being bailed out by other insurers when a major wildfire bankrupts it.
