The airbag deployment is why I said it’s likely a total. Whenever there is a deployment there is physical damage from the deployment and there is a host of other things that have to be replaced according to the P pages (most of the time sensor, the SRS module and generally the seat belts deployed as well). There will be room for $13,500-$16,500 in repairs on that car before it’s a total, so likely I certainly can’t say for sure. Side note: I’ve never seen a failed deployment. That’s interesting.
