Under 300 K revenue through a business broker. In most cases, it’s gonna be a book transfer and valuation is completely subjective. Small book brokers will just say 2.5 times revenue without really evaluating risk like carrier concentration, book mix, or policies per customer metrics. Or even how the book was built. If it was all online or purchased leads the retention on that is gonna be completely different than somebody with a high reputation local agency.
