Mortgage company sent a letter demanding proof of insurance. My supplemental insurance agent tells me not to worry, coverage will be retroactive with no lapse in coverage once it's updated. But CFP shows status has expired and "Bills for this policy are currently billed to the mortagee" . Anyone else in this position? Any due diligence suggestions?
